The oyas / ollas, how does it work?

Irrigation by Ollas, (ceramic pottery), is an underground irrigation technique, very economical in water and particularly suitable for all gardens and plantations.

The walls, with specific porosity, will gently release the water which will be absorbed by the roots of the plants in a perimeter and a variable duration, depending on the soil, the plants in the surroundings, the climate and of course the size of the plant. 'Olas.
